While Social Pros, Convince & Convert’s flagship podcast co-hosted by New York Times bestselling author, Jay Baer, has become one of the most popular podcasts in the world among social media practitioners, Convince & Convert recognized there was room to grow. The company wanted to build upon its successes and become the ultimate go-to podcast for social media professionals.

In 2014, Media Volery worked with Convince & Convert to analyze and optimize the show for growth and subscription building. With over 7 years of podcasting experience including the launch, production, and co-hosting of an iTunes #1 Hobbies & Crafts podcast, Zontee Hou and the Media Volery team conducted an audit of Social Pros based on show format, quality, reach, and its overall performance and standing within the marketing landscape.

By thoroughly analyzing the show’s technical execution in comparison to industry competitors, Media Volery was able to provide recommendations and best practices for creating, hosting, and marketing a successful podcast. After conducting the audit, Convince & Convert implemented changes based on Media Volery’s recommendations, which helped increase the podcast’s reach, allowing it to become a more powerful launchpad for other podcasts in its network. Additionally, Convince & Convert changed the format of the show to be more efficient, with two co-hosts instead of a panel of participants, creating a stronger narrative and new opportunities for sponsorship.

In 2015, the Content Marketing Awards named Social Pros the best podcast/audio series. To this day, Social Pros maintains its position as a top digital marketing podcast in an ever more competitive marketplace.
