Thank You for Joining Me at TNNA

It’s been a whirlwind of a first month of 2015. A few weeks ago, in Phoenix, I had the pleasure of teaching 50+ people between my classes and workshops at The National Needlearts Association‘s Winter Trade Show, engaging with small business owners from all over the US and Canada in sessions on topics including the importance of branding, making the most of social media, selecting and using digital marketing tools, and intermediate analytics.

One of my students asked a great question during my Saturday class: Could I recommend some additional resources for those new to these topics? Here’s my list:

Blogs to Read to Learn More on Social Media/Content Marketing/Digital Marketing

ConvinceandConvert.com – I, of course, am a proud member of the C&C team, but in addition to that, the blog is one of the top content blogs on the internet and has a ton of great features.

SocialMediaExaminer.com – A great resource for blog posts that cover skills and tools for newbies and more advanced marketers, this site is a go-to.

SocialMediaToday.com – Another mainstay of social media marketing news and information, I’d definitely recommend this blog as a stand-by.

Econsultancy.com/blog – The team at Econsultancy share great case studies, interesting questions, and best practices.

Blog.Marketo.com – For email marketing, automation, and content marketing inspiration, check out Marketo’s blog.

Blog.Hubspot.com – Hubspot has become a reliable part of my blog-reading arsenal for interesting takes on digital marketing.

Blog.BufferApp.com – The team at Buffer not only have a great tool for content marketing but also write about useful topics that businesses both large and small can use.

If you have any additional tools you want to add to the list, leave a comment.
